Laparosurg 2025: GEM Hospital’s Flagship Global Laparoscopic Training Program

Laparosurg – It’s homecoming this week!
Laparosurg is the flagship academic and surgical training programme conducted by GEM Hospital and initiated by its Chairman, Dr. C. Palanivelu, with the mission to spread practical knowledge and advanced laparoscopic surgical skills across the globe.

The 10th edition of Laparosurg was recently held at Coimbatore, bringing together more than 1300 surgeons from India and abroad. The event featured high-level scientific sessions, hands-on learning, and live operative demonstrations.

I was honored and privileged to perform multiple advanced laparoscopic surgeries during the program. These procedures were broadcast live from GEM Hospital, Coimbatore, directly to the conference venue, allowing participants to observe cutting-edge surgical techniques in real time.
